It’s exciting that the mens league season is kicking off followed by the ladies debut season in the following week.

And this Saturday we’re due to have some lovely weather for our one-day two bowls singles and pairs tournament – Pairs will be picked on the day at random so it’s a good chance to meet or play with people you might not normally get to and everyone has a chance!

Our seniors kick off their season with a match at home vs Leith on 7th May with a 1pm start and that section really does seem to grow in strength with each passing year

Also really looking forward to welcoming Stuart Mitchell and Tam Cowan to the club for a performance and a meal – It’s £30 a ticket and contact the committee or put your name down on the board to get some for your clan!

It’s also great that we get to host some matches in the Jnr and Mens National Championships and some top bowls are sure to be on display for any spectators coming down. The bar will also be open.

Then we round the month off with our latest Quiz night which is always a lot of fun. Grab yourself a team of 6 and get on down!
