Northern Gents Maintain Solid Start

Well done to our gents for keeping up their solid start to the EBA league season

Our 1st XVI may have been defeated 5-4 away to Corstorphine but 4 points away from home isn’t a disaster and they also only lost by 1 shot overall meaning that victory was really so close, and they still sit 2nd in their league which is a decent place to be.

Our 2nd XVI did manage to get themselves another win with a 7-2 victory at home to Brunstane meaning that they sit top of their league two weeks into the season – Let’s try to stay there and bring some silverware home to the club

Next week the 1st team are away to Summerside while our 2nd team have a free week, but the plan is that they’ll still come down and have bounce matches against each other to make use of the evening and to keep the good early season form going – All who are available are free to come and join though, that includes the ladies.
