Leaving from Waverley at 1130am, today’s the day that the gents of the Northern departed on tour to Newcastle!
They’ll have had to dive straight into action upon arriving though with their first match being at 4pm over at Gosforth and Coxlodge Bowling Club
On Saturday they’ll be playing at Portland Bowling Club and then on Sunday they play against Gosforth
On Monday, back at Gosforth and Coxlodge Bowling Club there’ll be the Northern Bedroom Pairs competition where those who share a room together also play as pairs
There are 22 travelling tourists from the Northern and also they’re joined by some friends from Dudley, Wardie and Maitland who fancied a wee trip away
Wishing them all the best for their tour and looking forward to hearing all the stories when they get back
Also, does it mean that this is the weekend for the young team to go and take over the club? Come on down on Saturday afternoon for some bounce games and to check out our new bar!
