Big thanks to Roy as always for putting a great effort into making this event a success when defeat was staring him in the face, after several drop outs for various reasons, many phone calls and whats App msgs etc etc, we ended up with 16 teams of bowling reps from the Northern, Mayfield, Dudley, Bilston, BurntIsland, Leith, Methilhill & Darlington
So the 4 team section winners were Grant Young AKA (51 Shirts), Smudger Smith & the Berry Ringer Brian Pollard, Methilhill, Mayfield & Daz Prentice, Jim Prentice & Gary (ill play with anyone who will take me) Largue,
The final was fought out between Mayfield and Grant Youngs squad and was won in the end by Young,Smith and Pollard, big well done to the winning triple and again well done to Roc and the green cutters, bar staff , bowlers and drinkers who I believe gave the bar a real whooping selling the bar out of Vodka and Peroni.
