It is with a very heavy heart that the club has received the sad news from June that Willie passed away yesterday morning. Willie was a long time member of the Northern and a well-kent face in bowling circles. He served the club in numerous roles and ways over the many years as a Committee member and Northern president in 1987-88. Willie was also president of Edinburgh & Leith Bowling Association in 2003. His presence at the club as well as many tours shall be greatly missed. All our thoughts go out to June and the family at this very sad and difficult time for the passing of a true Northern legend.
