The final kicked off at 1pm and the green was in great condition considering the monsoon that had taken place on the Saturday.
The two finalists Garry Harrison and Gordon Wilson Jnr got to grips with the green pretty quickly and both produced a great standard of bowls.
Gordon had the upper hand for most of the game edging out some really tight heads with some magnificent drawing bowls. Garry mounted a comeback towards the latter end of the game but the gap just couldn’t be caught.
A great final played in the best of spirts by two guys who know each others bowls inside out. Commiserations to Garry and a huge well done to now two time Champion Gordon Wilson Jnr.
