So today saw the 1st Internal club tournament taking place, 16 taking part in the singles Round Robin, and Davy Reid ,J Urquhart, J Bathgate and Andy Reid making the Semis, John and Andy making the final and this match went all the way to an extra end with John Urquhart winning the singles in a tight final.
Then onto the pairs, and we had 18 members taking part in this one with 4 or 5 of our newly acquired members from the Cask & Barrel taking part in thier 1st Northern tournament, more heartache for Andy Reid in the second tournament of the day as he reached the final with Kenny Lawrence, but they lost out to the old stalwart Ian Miller and new member Steve Hector taking part in his 1st Northern tournament and final,
